I’m a recent graduate Master student from the University of Limerick in Artificial Intelligence, I have worked in research related to deep learning, image segmentation and genetic algorithms and I have published a scientific paper at ICAART 2021 conference and the paper won the best student paper award.

Reason for Nomination:

HNAS: Hyper Neural Architecture Search for Image Segmentation is research that has been done as a part of the AI master at the University of Limerick.
The research offers:
1- A novelty way for producing a customized model for the provided data without suffering from over/underfitting using our method HNAS (GA based algorithm with a novelty fitness score).
2- A novelty way for producing compact size deep learning model for medical image segmentation using our method HNAS.
3- A new unet flavours.
4- Compact and customized models for retinal vessels segmentation.
5- The research won the best student paper award at ICAART conference.
